Canadian police and intelligence agencies will announce later today they have thwarted a plot to carry out a major terrorist attack, arresting two suspects in Montreal and Toronto, CBC News has learned.

    Maybe the only reason we haven't had a terrorist bomb go off in Canada has been the work of our police and intelligence service.

    I think the word you seek is 'special', not 'unique'. As in 'short bus' special, but more so 'short bus ' special. I can say that, because the side of my family that doesn't talk to me lives there. ;)

    I wouldn't be. I don't find the loony left comments on the CBC boards (or the loony right comments on Sun) to be very representative of the population.
