Sounds like a no-brainer to me. Took 5 years, really?
It will take longer - she's appealing the judge's decision. Again.
That said, this is a sexual assault case. The accuseds in this matter are probably using this issue to further undermine the ability of the victim to provide a robust defence of her testimony during examination-in-chief.
Hopefully she can give video evidence instead or some more common accomodation we routinely use for vulnerable witnesses.
Some times points of law and legal debates can miss the heart of the matter.
Now this is one decision that I can fully get behind. It is a fair and competent decision.
