Six men from the West Midlands admit planning an attack on an English Defence League rally that was thwarted after they arrived late.

    A statement from the Birmingham Coalition of Muslim Organisations and Mosques, which says it represents most of the city's 230,000 Muslims, said: "The Muslim community in Birmingham wishes to make one thing absolutely clear: These acts are not carried out in our name."


    In who's name then? Must be a breakaway sect of the "Purple Pobble's".

    I think we should profile people with really unkempt beards. Seriously every mugshot makes it look like they never groomed themselves in months.

    At least we are now getting Muslims speaking out about this stuff. Better than the avoidance of the issues we have had so far.
