FFS......the CPC seems to be as bad as the NDN when it comes to fiscal accountability. One does not simply misplace 3.1 billion dollars

That's a shit load of money to misplace. I know of a few departments that are in dire need of it too.

More likely that they spent it on things that would lose an election and are going to the less incendiary "we lost it".

They didn't lose it. Although it was kind of funny to see the CPC trot out the old "Blame the Liberalss" line Seriously? After 8 years?

Anyway, if you read the fine print it seem to me that it's accounted for but the Auditor General wanted a summary of expenditures or something. That's my take on it.

I wish I could get that job--Auditor general. Walk in, squawk a lot, crap over everything and leave. And then get treated as a hero by the media. If, nbow and then, the Auditor-General came out and said "Yeah, things aren't that bad" it would add ot the credibility of the office. But as it is, every time it's "The Sky is Falling!"

Sorry, I'm the first to take a swing at teh Conservatvies, but I've had it with the aurditor general. Guy plays to the media essentially. So did his predeccessor.

As much as I agree with you...where's Zip and what did you do to him?

You're doing a great job convincing people you're him, with the typos and all, but there's something strange going on here *X-Files theme plays*

I would have said the same thing with the Liberals. At least I hope I would have. I don't like the Conservatives, but I'm not a hater. I'm stuck with them, so I may as well at least appreciate the aspects of them that don't suck. Compared to previous governments, control of spending has been pretty good, in my opinion, anyways.

Just don't get me started on the taxpayer-funded "Trudeau is a fag" pamphlets though.

Did you check the dates? how can the conservatives be responsible for money spent before 2006? Yeah, they can't explain theirs but you sound like someone who posts on the bottom of the CBC articles..."Blame Harper" for everything.

Maybe Paul Martin and Chretien have some splainin to do.

The money has probably gone to "border security", like the gazebos.

With all of the dumbassedness you post, you're the last person who should whine about someone not receiving a warning

It would be nice if you could discuss something without calling people names and such. That's all I'm saying.

Why so angry all the time?

Its a discussion forum not UFC.
