I guess when they said they'd take care of the Veterans they actually meant it in the context used by the characters in "Goodfellows".
I wonder when I'll get labeled a terrorist threat to M'urica because of a missing CF 98.
Fuck the NDP, they clearly have never had to deal with Veterans Affairs.
Never personally met a vet or active service member that had a good story to tell about VA.
Rather than before when you just had to wait months for no reason at all.
Iron Mountain is a major player in the data and records business.

You do realise that just because the Americans are going to be holding our files doesn't mean the Gov't has turned over the running of their empire to them. The claims, the appeal processes and the myriad of daily task carried out throughout Julian Fantino's fiefdom will remain the purview of those bastions of honesty and fair play called Veterans Affairs Canada
All this really means is another layer to the bureaucracy and a new excuse to deny claims because they can't find "your medical records" anymore. As for the dedicated employees. Unfortunately it isn't those who kept the files who should be put out of work but the leeches and their political patrons who have turned Veteran Affairs into their own personal Empire at the expense of veterans.
