Tough luck princess. Pay up. A little ridiculous TransLink is taking a DECADE to get around to this. It should've always bin like this. Want to renew your driver's license, get car insurance or your BC Services ID card, then pay up your damn fines.
Fly out of the country..sorry you owe money!
"They are taking the food out of the mouths of my children for something that occurred a decade ago, something that my parents were never informed of since I was a minor, she said."
When her kids tummies are grumbling it will be a valuable lesson, one that their stupid mother ignored. Buy a train ticket.
They're the fucking bloodsucking lazyass government.
Name a business that can go back 15 years. They're limit is 7.
BUT WE"RE GOV'T AND WE MAKE UP THE RULES AND YOU CAN'T DO FUCK ALL ABOUT IT, EVER.

Yep. I learned this well running this rental property.
Bullshit. They didn't make an effort to collect the fines in 15 years.

Were the fines valid when issued?
If yes, do those fines expire in time?
If yes, why?
If no, then this is just a new method of collection.
Yeah, well hard to feel sorry for her. Not a fan of using ICBC as an enforcement agency though. It's got bugger all to do with them.
Correct, this should have passed to the courts that could have issued any number of orders to secure the fines.
It's funny for how many lawyers make up politicians they sure do suck at writing laws and acts most of the time.
