A Vancouver woman convicted of killing her two infant sons issued a statement of remorse and regret in B.C. Supreme Court, saying every time she sees people with their children she thinks of what her family may have been like.
Besides, she's psychologically disturbed, overly dependent on her family and didn't have the maturity expected of people her age. Last but not least, she's a woman... so a slap on the wrist and a promise to never do this again should be enough punishment.
Yep, a special category for just for women murderers with much more lenient sentencing. Actually I'd be happy if they just gave her a hysterectomy, since she seems unlikely to kill anybody but her own kids.
A baby killer, literally. People won't be lining up to spit on her though.
She'll be pitied, our social services will be criticized for not providing her with the support she needed, and she'll get a relative slap on the wrist.

With a sledge hammer.
