Hopefully the police don't just throw up their arms and walk away from this one because, given the willingness of these two to kill maim and injure it's likely this won't be the last we've heard of them.
Crown seeks 'terrorism peace bond' for couple convicted then freed in B.C. Legislature bomb plot
"Oh, I was just terrified," said Smith. "I just thought, what the hell? What's going on? Oh, my God, are they ever going to be free? "
Korody's lawyer, Mark Jette, called it "very disappointing."
"There was a real lack of courtesy in the way we were dealt with," he said.
Late Friday, Nuttall and Korody were released on bail. They're scheduled to return to court Sept. 7.

Damn Terrorism Peace Bond. Good thing the new regime got rid of that former Gov'ts unfair legislation.
Oh wait.
But, if there was ever a pair who deserved to be put under that bond it's these two wunderkids.
This case was theater from the get go, just Canada wanting to show the US that we're serious about fighting terrorism. If these couple of doofuses area supposed to prove that, oy vey.

Ty Hyack. Didnt see that
I have always stated, the best officers in uniform deserve our utmost respect. They respond to danger often with little or incomplete information. It is honourable and difficult work and it is always legitimate. You cannot choose which calls to receive and what dangers you will face on a day to day basis.
From first hand experience I can state without hesitation with my hand on the bible, that these covert operatives and investigators stretch the truth and misrepresent, often to the point of being the focal point of the potential crimes themselves, and only having the perps come along for the ride. The judge in this case stated as much:
Ultimately, their role in carrying out the plan was minuscule compared to what the police had to do, Bruce said. It was the police who were the leaders of the plot.
These statement should be pasted at the top of every news cast, it is a dangerous pattern that has been going on for decades. If this is what the RCMP are doing, what do you think the OPP and Toronto Police Service are doing? How many lives have been ruined and received far less fair treatment and publicity?
It is why I will staunchly defend civil liberties and the expansion of such, and accountability for those who harm our basic principles of fairness and honesty. For the record, as someone who considers himself Conservative, it is the one issue that Trudeau can really gain strong ground on, libertarians on the right who know what is at stake with abuses of power by the state, province and local authorities.
Also, consider right from the article the major difference in America vs Canadian policing, really one of the fundamental differences:
Unlike in the United States, entrapment arguments in Canada are heard and ruled on by a judge only after an accused has been found guilty, whether by jury or by judge alone. This is because entrapment is seen to be an abuse of process not against the accused but against the reputation of the entire legal system. In the U.S., a jury will decide on entrapment as part of its verdict, whereas in Canada entrapment arguments are heard following the jurys verdict.
