Entrance to CFB Petawawa halfway between Ottawa and North Bay just off Highway 17 (take Paquette Rd). Civilians may camp near the water at Black Bear campground. (Check avaiability.) For those travelling with a boat, there is a beautiful marina. Bring your charts, there are lots of islands and the rocks can be treacherous when the water is low, as it was last Fall.
