Brief microburst July 17 did a lot of damage to trees, two garages and one van in Deep River. Miraculously no one was hurt, and no houses damaged, to my knowledge. Mattawa was not so lucky, but at least no lives were lost. According to Hydro 1. 170,000 people were without power, some, like me, for four days. Curiously, practically no media coverage.
