Description:
Pembroke, Ontario grew as a result of logging and the railway. I think the last steam train blew its sparks onto the track in about 1958. (Brush fires along the tracks used to mean wicked blueberries the following year, but of course I'm way too young to remember that.)

Thanks! Lots of murals here. Sounds like you know the area. Come back and visit! For some reason beer tastes better in the Valley, not sure why.
