Soldiers from D Battery, 2nd Regiment, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery (2 RCHA) fire their M777 155-mm howitzer at the Canadian forward operating base (FOB). Used in support of infantry operations, these guns can deliver accurate supporting fire with explosive, smoke or illuminating rounds and have a range of several kilometres.
