I prefer to stick to the artistic style of the original medals, but I departed a little with the proposed Beer medal given the "unique" things that could be said about it... ^__^' http://www.canadaka.net/files/beer_198.png Pretty neat design there D-Peace. That would be cool to have...

1964-D-Peace, are you a member of the fifth column? Darn, how can I say "no" to a cute ferret? ^_^' If you really want to get deep about it, I would always be someone's fifth column. I and others like me just happen to be on the wrong side of the current [traditional] media trend -- assuming, of co...

Sure, maybe. Is it just me or is anyone else struck by the irony of awarding someone a "Flamer" medal? I think medals should be given for positive things, rather than negative. I'd like to agree, but then I'm also guilty of creating junk medals (e.g., the Beer medal above,... -v-') and hence risk b...

Vigilante has a sinister tone to it - it sounds like someone who would follow another poster around from topic to topic just to prove a point. We do have a few of those here. Hmmm, topic poacher or stalker. Interesting idea for a medal. Hey there, Mr. Freeman. (I just finished playing Half Li...

WTF are you talking about? And whats with the `v'? Sorry, I haven't designed a Sarcastic Medal yet. If I did and if Admin approves their use, I'd nominate myself for it. In the meantime, I'm gonna have to inconvenience you to reread the post with a healthy serving of sarcasm and a dash of dark humo...

Topic Police is a guy who makes sure a forum stays on track and makes sure that people don't turn it into a flamer war. I've seen some people doing that in the forums, which Is why I want that medal created, so I can nominate them. 'Kay, that does sound like something a Moderator would do, but perh...

I prefer to stick to the artistic style of the original medals, but I departed a little with the proposed Beer medal given the "unique" things that could be said about it... ^__^' The slanted "B" might be difficult to read, but please let me know if the design could work otherwise. I'd like to exper...

While I believe I have seen a decline in healthcare in Canada I still believe its better than in the US. Haven't you heard that unhealthy citizens are good for business? Or perhaps you suffer from a severe deficiency of corporate mouths to feed? `v' Now granted that a better functional healthcare s...

I've noticed we have a few Australian members now, how bout we create a Cool Aussie medal for them????? All in favour???? I just hope that Australians are [really and truly] okay with being called "Aussie". ^_^' I have an idea for a Sarcastic medal, but I rather pace the development of subsequent m...

Hello. Mukluk is very active, friendly and non-inflammatory in his corner of the forum, so I'd like to nominate him for a medal. The 'Cool Yankie' one seems the most fitting from the existing list, although a "Financial Guy" medal (similar to the "Political Guy" one) would be perfect. Could I volun...

Hey 64D, good to see you on this forum again. Missed your insight. Slow and steady for me, no big jumps in posts. Whereas some take one thread to get to 500, slow and steady is the pace for me :) So what about it, are you building a portfolio? You wouldn't start off in last place since even a 0% ga...

I am such a knucklehead. Setup my first day's portfolio and bought 500 Google shares instead of 50 - woohoo! No more cash to buy anything else, and you can't trade it the same day you bought it. Woohoo! First day in and I'm dead last. You guys are in for it tomorrow. 8) m PS - I am all talk, no bit...

Looks like there are several cases (video) And it is killing stocks I knew I could count on the Freeman to post more helpful links! Thank you, now I most definitely don't regret abandoning beef and cow milk at a young age. Plus a big agribusiness (Tyson) suffered, so I can't deny the news isn't a f...
