Gunnair, I seem to recall that for myself during the mid eighties the general policy was we reported to work and the WO would decide if we were sick enough to go to the MIR. Xort, exactly where are you getting your information? The last 15 years that I spent in the Canadian Forces we have been allowed to call in for a sick day, although locally you may be required to also report to the local medical facility. Seen, and understood that things change just the optics are not good for the powers that be to do this approx half way through a ROTO and just after giving themselves a pay raise. Looks like they are dropping everyone down a notch or two on the scale.
