| I haven't been doing anything, the server just gets overloaded and back logged. It should be fixed in a month one way or another. |

| I havn't had any other complaints or warnings about any problems with the ads. The slowness happens periodicly and i'm not entirely sure why. | I need a new database server, the current old server is not able to handle the load efficiently. Currently websites hosted on CKA Networks are powered by 2 rack servers, the main web server is a fairly new Dell server, but the dedicated database server is an older machine which often reaches 100% CP... |

arg I can't figure out why the site seems to stop responding for about 5 minutes several times a day. Its not happening to other sites on the same server.
I'm away in Calgary & Toronto for a week but when I get back i'll have to do an indepth investigation. |

| I think I found the main reason the forum homepage is often slow. the "activity stats" block that was on the right side of the page. the database is so large now it was taking a long time to compile these stats. It cached the results every 15 minutes, so the page loads fast normally but ev... |

| Yes... painfully slow these last few days. I notice it most when I'm reading a thread then click on the Forums button to go back to the main forums page. Takes forever and times out sometimes to a blank page or I get the message "webpage has expired". No trouble on other sites though. the... |

I'll try and investigate this today. But the resources on the server aren't being taxed, so I dunno the issue. Might be a database problem.
I need someone to email me or something when its slow, everytime I come on its fine. I want to see if I can notice anything on the server when its going slow. |

if it does say yet then you somehow still have an old forum setting called "lite" enabled and I will have to manually switch it in the database. |
