I don't see this as a problem. Who uses DVD video anymore? Why should the cost of Windows be inflated by the licensing costs of DVD for a feature very few people probably use anymore. Video is downloaded or streamed online nowadays. Windows 10 is free, if you need DVD player software, suck it up and...

Seems to have been good all day today. Night frustrating that it seems to have fixed itself before I could determine the problem. Unless the data-centre or DNS host fixed something and are not telling me.

has the site been inaccessible for people today? Next time it goes down for you, if you know how can you do a tracert to the actual IP of the server and not to the domain.

tracert 66.199.162.177

Then also provide a tracert for when you can access the site, to compare.

www is a CNAME to the A record, its always been this way for 10+ years. I'm going to turn www into an A record though, reduces a DNS lookup. On my ISP (Novus) the site has never been inaccessible to me. So I can still access when a user reports he cannot and is on Telus or Shaw. I used a 3rd party l...

Crazy It has not gone down once for me, I've been using a program to do a tracrrt every 15 seconds. I guess my ISP Novus isn't effected by whatever is going on.

Is it a generic browser ERROR 500 page you get when its down?
