shameful. I'm all for ensuring we control military spending to some degree (let's be honest the US spends way too much on their military) but our troops deserve a hell of a lot more support then they have ever gotten under the CPC. |

I just recalled a quote by George Carlin on the matter I think was rather awesome.
"Why should it be illegal to sell something that's perfectly legal to give away?" |

Frankly you can't ever stomp out prostitution for good so this only makes sense that we try and create some kind of safer work environment for these women. That being said I hope government includes mandatory safety laws regarding conduct with this kind of thing. Laws requiring the use of condoms an... |

Frankly it blows my mind that people are more upset over this then the 10000 Canadians who lost their jobs this past month. No freedom of speech was violated as the man wasn't thrown in jail. That's all freedom of speech guarantees. You don't like his show then fine don't watch it. That's all I've d... |

DanSC DanSC: When they didn't have a government, they weren't passing laws that assumed children had the maturity to legally consent to their own death.
You may want to actually read the very short snippet at the top that makes it clear parents or Guardians also have to consent.

How can you purchase a house today, now that prices have gone up 300% from 10 years ago without taking on a huge debt? Lower your expectations and buy something you can afford to pay off in 10-15 years. Or have patience and buy when the market comes down if everything is way too high. I'm actually ... |

I think in a world of 24/7 media coverage it's hard to remember this sometimes. It saddens me when I hear people say "the world is scary today not like the old days" or "I see all the stuff on the news and just think of the rapture". Thanks for posting this. It's far too easily f... |

Couldn't agree more Shep. I'm all for public health care or social programs aimed at getting people into the job market but welfare and some of it's ilk has to stop. It's at the core of the first nations problem too. Handing a bunch of people money without any of the responsibility of having to earn... |

Not a critique of Pope Francis, but I think the Catholic Church needs to deal with the inequalities of wealth that exist within the Church before they go looking at the mote in someone else's eye. http://www.bibliotecapleyades.net/vatican/vatican_billions.htm I'm very glad you brought that up this ... |

If it was made clear to the public that you are NOT meant to have kids or support a family on minimum wage I think alot of the crying would stop and some people may actually smarten up and try to get ahead in life before having kids. I don't think very many people are naive enough to think that the... |

I'm not picking sides I'm making arguments with real numbers and real facts. You can agree or not it's your call but I'm not taking sides I'm speaking my mind. I'm not just picking on you and maybe it was a bad call to use your name as an example. I disagree with both you and Andy albeit for differe... |

So here's some actual data to back up my arguments before I even start. http://srv116.services.gc.ca/dimt-wid/sm-mw/rpt2.aspx?lang=eng&dec=1#fnb46 and for those interested an inflation calculator for Canada. http://www.bankofcanada.ca/rates/related/inflation-calculator/ There you now have the sa... |
