Geeze, been awhile since I last saw this. From what I've heard it wont be implimented across the board, only where deemed neccisary. to expensive, even for the yanks.

Jumping into this conversation way late. As it is, it isn't undemocratic, but those who voted Liberal, NDP, or Bloc weren't expecting them to get into bed with the other two opposition parties to form a coalition (and thusly adopt some of the others pollicies). AS old and rusty as they are, russian ships still look badass with the dark grey paintjob and visual array of weapons and sensor kit. far more intimidating to any pirates or smullglers than a halifax or Oliver Perry class frigates.

Avro Arrow could accelerate vertically, as can the F-15.

But all three aircraft have to be lacking armaments and have only 50% fuel to pull it off. F-22 is the first aircraft able to accelerate vertically under a full combat loadout.

nice article. i actully idn't know about the new icebreaker.

I think its the idea of dropping off the whole lot at once rather than piece by piece. Anyways, I don't like ship, nor do i like idea of combining AOR with Command and control or as a battlegroup transport ship. You mean at once as in using just one ship? We can drop a company all at once with e...

Norad ensures we cover each-others asses from airbourne threats, but as for navy and army we are own our own... especially with the navy, as the Russians and the yanks themslves love to infringe in our territory with their nuclear powered subs and super-gigantic icebreakers.
