China will buy more from Canada than the US in the next several decades anyhow. We may need deals with China more so than the USA.

Canadian consumers might as well be able to get their manufactured goods straight from the source.

The sky is falling much? This just means the British aren't hypocrites, at least in terms of long term policy. They populated 3 continents in the last 400 years, and now they've allowed some people into their island, mostly from their former colonies. I can't see anything wrong with this, and the Br...

If Iraqis were as industrious as the Germans Saddam might have caused some serious damage to his neighbors...its always scary when industrial countries are run by maniacs. Lucky for us most aren't.

Troops coming home after a war is always good news. [B-o] [B-o] What will they do when they return? Jobs are scarce. Especially for the unskilled (non techie) troops. This is 90,000+ people to add to the jobs roster. Methinks with the winding down of the Iraq/Afghan wars, there will be many private...

Of course before the European/Greek takeover, when Egypt was still pretty much an indigenous affair. They built massive tombs and wasted huge amounts o...

I'd be more quick to toss out a generalization about shitty Chinese drivers than reclusive attitudes to not caring about innocents.

Gulp at the very thought of China 'driving' the world economy.

Damn, I am going to say outright this summary execution of big G is not a good way to kick off a 'democracy'. This new Libya...not much better than old Libya. Murdering Africans, summary executions, reports of looting and robbery by NTC forces...about that fresh start. The only fresh thing about thi...

Honor killings...

just backwardness...

Big in Arab/Indian societies. Not so much in the rest of the world.

It has pagan roots just like the rest of the Isles. Trying to compare the Irish...
