Isn't that kind of like saying, the fact that I discover my day care worker is a convicted pedophile isn't a reason to not let him watch after my son, it's only when he's done something "for sure" that we fire him? Surely we can and should consider the likelihood of someone disgracing thei...

I support the Tories but this is pretty bad. Surely it is relevant that the SCIENCE Minister doesn't believe in evolution. His refusal to answer the question speaks volumes about him. Why don't we just have a convicted criminal be the Justice Minister while we're at it? Or have the Finance Minister ...

This is probably the best Iggy can do. Once attack ads are run against him, his positives will drop. Tsk tsk, looks like the great brainy hope isn't going to save them after all!

Prime Minister Stephen Harper said the recession was caused by American consumers and investors who believed in the "unconservative" idea that they could borrow without consequences. He's completely right about this. Everyone thought the money-train would never stop. And they borrowed rec...

He should be fined for starting a useless lawsuit based on fraudulent claims for damages. These nonsense suits clog up the courts everywhere and they must be stamped out.

Sorry to hear your candidate didn't win. I actually liked Tabuns quite a bit, at least because he seemed different. I just hope Horwath isn't a knee-jerk attack dog in the legislature - her "we don't adjust" comments give me serious concern.

Payne received seven years in prison for the 2006 beating of one of his crack-cocaine customers who was struck with a metal bar, punched and kicked and had boiling water poured on his naked body. The 30 months Payne served awaiting sentence counts as double, leaving him two years left to serve for ...

They could have been tried as adults and then put on the mandatory Sex Offender Registration. Without that and intensive treatment, which IMO doesnt work for S.O. but at least can learn coping skills to control the desire, then they will continue to offend and escalate. Cant scare it out of them. T...

Good on the dad? He shared a bottle of booze with the boys' dad, shot off a gun and took a hammer to them. You're right though. The little girl needs help, but I wonder if she'll get it. yeah, your right. Poor boys, really all they did was molest a 6 year old. had it been me, I would have cracked t...

Only in Canada could a guy who confesses to murder be declared a wrongful conviction. His whole argument today (as opposed to the decisions of the courts 30 years ago, before our "enlightened" current judiciary got ahold of it), was based on the fact he didn't have a chance to present his ...

The problem isn't the Bloc. Even if you outlawed them (constitutionally impossible), the people would find a way to vote in a similar party. The problem is that the citizens of Quebec vote in this abomination, and then they are able to extract ridiculous concessions out of whatever government is in ...
