Also they have to BUY the oil rights which belong to the Crown. Well isn't the crown Her Majesty's right in Canada? If we remained part of the crown wouldn't all it's assets just become part of Her Majesty's right in Western Canada? If Alberta sepaRAtes then they aren't part of Canada any more are ...

They're just idiots. Like they'd survive as a land-locked country.

First they have to repay Canada for the building of the railway, then pay through the nose to use it in future. Also they have to BUY the oil rights which belong to the Crown.
