For once I'm glad there is a papacy. No head of state would dare say so blunt a criticism and it's good that someone could be so bold. Of course, I wouldn't care to bet on how long before there will be an assassination attempt.

If i may venture a view as the son of a career military officer we understood what our father's job was and why it was important. We had the fear of him being posted into risky situations but were proud that he could, would and did serve. For my Mum it was very difficult not merely being left to cope...

Little Kitler (I'm sorry about the name but he looks like Hitler and it stuck) is about 3 months old; Fletcher is 2 years old. Jacob is --- well, fat. As far as his age, one day we'll saw off his head and count the rings.

I do refer to little Kitler at times as Mine Furrer.

However much I deplore seeing our military in combat, I fully support our troops being in Afghanistan. Despite the casualties our troops have suffered, we went into this conflict with the purpose of removing the oppressive Taliban regime that was fostering heroin production and harbouring a terroris...

Based on your quote I'm presuming you are a Conservative supporter; yes, I would very much like to read your views on the various candidates.

I bet we'll be meeting often in the "lists". :lol

The federal Liberal leadership race is coming down (it would appear) between our two front-runners, Michael Ignatieff and former provincial NDP leader Bob Rae. Both offer advantages as well as come with "baggage." It's worth recalling though that Mr. Trudeau came from nowhere to win the le...
