That is modern-day feudalism. Private companies own and run everything and the citizenry owns and controls nothing.

Are you sure you meant to say feudalism, and not fascism? This was exactly the ideal that Mussolini wanted.

According to the brothers' previous accounts, Kohail arrived at the school with a friend to find a group of men waiting for him, some armed with clubs and knives. A fight erupted and Syrian Haraki died during the brawl. a brawl, armed with clubs and knives. Sounds like either self defence or an acc...

Not everyone has cable, and we don't live in the third world - the family doesn't gather around the radio anymore. What does tv have to do with being i the third world. People only need brodcasting for public safety (weather warnings, disater alerts) and news. Beyond that it is a luxery. I don't se...

That's nice, but Showcase is not a broadcaster in and of itself. It is a premium cable channel. The only Canadian cahnnels you will get with an antenna on your television (depending on where you live) are channels like CBC, CTV, Global, TVO, Radio-Canada, TVA, TQS, Télé-Québec. Do we need to have f...

That's what crown corporations do! Should we get rid of Canada Post and the Bank of Canada too? Evidently you need to educate yourself on Canadian political traditions and its past applications.

Well UPS has mailboxes now.

It's relatively cheap for them to buy the Canadian rights to an American show. So they play it prime time, and watch the...

I was trying to point out that YOU aren't exactly comparing apples to apples. You are taking the price of the open market at one point in time and comparing it to what the wheat board is paying through the whole year. Not what the wheat board can sell grain for at the same point in time (what I was...

All and all, McCain wouldn't be all that bad, unless he panders to his base and changes quite a bit.
