Forum: Current Events   Topic: Climate Change Is Not Caused By Cosmic Rays, According To Ne

There's definitely resistance to global warming theory. There are attempts from time to time to organize such as the recent conference in New York. When I mention organized resistance to cosmic ray theory, I'm more interested in the hypocrisy of it. The official agitprop is there is no relevance, or...

Suzuki and Gore are already organizing as we discuss this. Ya know...I know you're just joking when you say this, but want a tin-foil hat conspiracy theory to play with? Wagner is talking about CERN's Large Haldron Collider. He appears to want the whole project shut down That same LHC is slated to ...

I don't know Sasquatch. I had to read what they were saying a few times, but I think they may have got it right. They said it back to front in a confusing way in the paper, but after a few readings it sounded like they were saying the right thing. Doesn't matter though. This has been happening since...

The way I heard it, the main reason a species starts to spread out from its territory is the species starts to thrive. So many global warming myths. Wanna see some more. No Eskimo word for Robin Global Warming is killing frogs Warming Islands being discovered by unprecedented warming in Greenland

The story was Texas A&M did a study. They discovered people who were better informed about global warming were less likely to worry about a crisis. The story for you there was Texas was in America. Somehow for you the story became there's something wrong with Americans. I notice you also ignored...

Texas A&M did a recent study, and discovered people who were better informed "feel less personally responsible for global warming, and also show less concern for global warming" What's that you say? A poll that finds Americans don't feel responsible for the consequences of their actio...

Whatever, Rearguard. I again ask you to read what the scientists are saying. I agree, and would offer you the same advise Rev. In fact, here's some suggestions. Dr. Claude Allegre His break with what he now sees as environmental cant on climate change came in September, in an article entitled "...

Here's a version of the story, other than the one from CBC news. The policy, brought in last November amid rising concerns over head injuries at the Delta sawmill, applies to all workers except those in two positions -- apparently the two posts now offered to Sohal and Sahota -- and was adopted foll...

I think it's fair to hear the opinion of one of the soldiers Khadr shot. Here's a link to the video. http://youtube.com/watch?v=XwAL_ehXmgg The guy who submitted the Omar Khadr bio to wikipedia seems pretty pro-Omar, but it's worth reading between the lines in the first bit. Although born in Canada,...

Is Inhofe a creationist? Maybe, I don't know, and links to activist websites making accusations mean nothing. I'd expect more truth from graffiti on a bathroom wall. But here's the difference between the way the skeptics deal with an ignorant dork, and the way the alarmists do. I might point out tha...

Ah, I see Fiddledog put up a link to Inhofe's (R-Oklahoma, young earth creationist) little committee again. Thing is, if he would have taken the time to read the material I linked to, he'd know how little credibility his links have. Yes I posted links to the US goverment's Environment and Public Wo...

I tried watching it once, then never again. Some stuff I just don't get. Different strokes, I guess. There's this show on American where they watch has-been celebrities dance. I never got that one either.

I guess that Mosque show appeals to CBC's target audience. Doesn't do much for me though.

This year's Earth Hour caught me by surprise, but I'll be ready for next year's event. I'm going to make a wire frame and twist Christmas lights around it. It will form the words "Global Warming is a Hoax".

Diogenes, would you like a tip on how to get the zealots off your back when they start screaming for studies? It isn't that those studies don't exist. They know that's not the case. What they're relying on is you having better things to do to than search for them. There are tricks to finding studies...

There's a good quote about Richard Lindzen from one of his students. It goes "Lindzen is only about half as smart as he thinks he is, which still makes him about twice as smart as anybody else", and about 10 times as smart as you Rev. So if you're trying to say you know more than Richard L...
