Domestic violence is inexcusable in any community. But remember that correlation does no equal causality. Perhaps there are more reported instances of domestic violent in gay couples, but it maybe that means Gay spouses are more likely to report abuse than Hetero spouses. As for being in the public ...

Can't take the heat, eh. don't bother about getting married then. Heat? How many hetero divorces are made a matter of public debate? If you don't have to deal with it, why should we? why should our relationships be under more scrutiny that yours? People say they're sick of hearing it. But they can'...

This kills me! Straight couples divorce every single day. A Gay couple splits, and it becomes a hetero debate-fest. Why don’t you worry less about our marriages, and focus on your own.

Why is anyone surprised? I have friends who are conservatives, and friends who are separatists. We can all get along, even though we highly disagree on a lot of things. Why is it so hard for the people leading our nation to be civil to one another? What a wonderful example for the rest of Canada. If...

A. One in ten raito 'propaganda' was disclaimed years ago. Recent Statscan statistics put it in the 2% range. (Though I think it is much higher then 10% in ON) B. There is no such thing as a "gay Albertan". They are only migrants from Ontario or Queerbec. C. As you are from Ontario you are likley g...

This helps to assuage my low self-esteem by providing a service for business' in the East requiring relocation to Alberta before next referendum/Pacific Rim opportunities/high taxation. | In some cases, sure. But not all. What about the couples who are divorcing after 15+ years of marriage? I don't see anything wrong with no-fault marriage. Rather than restrict who can get divorced, we should carefully screen who gets married. ;) We've already tried that and gay marriage was still f... |

If we were all the same, why would homosexual's insist on having parade's all around Canada highlighting their differences? Just because people are different, doesn't mean there's anything wrong with it nor do I think you need a parade to show it. You cannot compare this to anything regarding race....

If marriage was a homosexual thing and us heterosexuals wanted to use marriage as well, you think they'd ever let that go? HELLLL NO! I love how you are speaking for a culture which you don't even understand, and never have been a part of. Gay men and women have been on the bad side of discriminati...
