| There was a movie about some guys that were writing financial software. They wrote it to always round down and to send the extra fraction of a cent to an off-shore account. A fraction of a cent times hundreds of millions of transactions a day and they expected to become horrendously rich from trivi... |

And supposedly Hillary has some mud to sling at Barack between the April 16th debate and the April 22nd primary in Pennsylvania. |

| Hey at least it isn't as stupid as a legislator in my home state of New Hampshire wanting to give the state its own Time Zone. I think it would have put us a couple of hours ahead of the rest of the east coast. He fortunately was soundly defeated in the state government. That would have been a terr... |

| I wonder if McCain would have the balls to pick Lieberman. Although Joe might be a Secretary of State pick if McCain wins. |

| Didn't McCain get shouted-down by constiuants once when he made a pro-illegal immigrant speech about how Americans wouldn't pick lettuce even if they paid $40 an hour, with the crowd all shouting, "Oh yes we would!" Yes, that's true. The crowd booed and chanted they would pick it for that... |

| Those are, unfortunately, myths. The mainstream concern with illegal immigration is that it is precisely that: illegal. One of the core concepts of conservatism is law enforcement, and it requires ignoring the law to take a position in favor of illegal immigration. It is also a fact that the majori... |

| My problem with McCain is that he's an Open Borders fanatic. I've been traveling (in Arizona, trying to find work and relocate) so I haven't been following the news very well but supposedly his director of Hispanic outreach is a guy who advocates dual loyalty between the US and Mexico for Mexican-Am... |

| Heh. One of my friends had a Commodore 64, and I'm old enough to remember thinking it was cool. I'm 28. I vaguely remember Lite Brites, I had an NES, which I then shelved in favor of a Genesis. I also remember the last decade of the Cold War. While kids nowadays might overhear talk of dirty bombs or... |

| To the liberals who continue to deride the man years after his death, he was. Sure he was. Ronald (6 letters) Wilson (6 letters) Reagan (6 letters) Ol' Ronnie was the Mark of the Beast :D Obama's anti-gun rhetoric doesn't impress me. The thought of him being President makes me ill. He's hawk... |

Last night's results made me want to puke.
The GOP has already acquired a reputation as being too Southern fried and religious so the caucus-goers chose a Southern minister.
Oh well.
I doubt Huckabee will win the nomination, but if he did, he'd be killed in the general election. |

WesterCharcoal wrote: Many would even go so far as to say that Conservative discontent with the Republican Party is the reason why the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006.
I'd agree. I think the GOP lost Congress not because the Democrats gained voters but because the Republicans lost theirs. |
