If they aren't saying and putting clear evidence out there, then I'm not buying it. The US government has gained quite the reputation for lying, especially in the last few months. Unless they have piles evidence, preferably gathered, but at least verified, by a third party, then I think taking them ...

It could definitely happen. Given some of the US's recent (since 2000 or so) actions and their new-found belligerence, I've actually been wondering if the UN isn't going to have to step in and place sanctions on them. Even Tony Blair seems to disagreeing with Bush, albeit in the most meek way possib...

Canada in 2050? We'll all have flying cars and the work-week will only be 4 days long and nobody will ever get sick because of anti-biotics and we'll all be friends with everybody on earth. Oh wait, that's what those damned hippies promised me for the year 2000 and it never happened. This is ...

It's the side of the war that's going largely uncovered. That isn't an accident. :x

Don't ever under-estimate the intelligence of the population, Twila. I was talking to a model the other day...a girl too stupid to tell the difference between the shipping/receiving room and the model change room (I work for a photographer). We got to talking (models love married guys with no teeth ...

The main threat to America right now is George Bush. He's working to take the most powerful nation on earth, a nation that has stood as a beacon for democracy, and turn it into a bad joke. The US has committed sins in the past, many of them. It has never tried to take over the world in the name of p...

...Of course I'm banned from the US for making fun of George Bush on the Internet. It doesn't affect me much, since I don't go there much. I do miss Marlboros though...the finest cigarette ever invented. I got banned for being an "Unfriendly Activist." Oddly enough, at that time about the most activ...

I think he'll go after the rest of the Middle East first. There is no oil in North Korea after all.

We really need to do something about the mainstream "press" in North America. I first read about this in either The Nation or The Guardian. Neither of those would be considered mainstream and one is based in Britain. I have heard mention of it, though no indepth coverage, on CBC Radio 1 and possibly...

Actually, Absolut....most press critics say that Al Jazeera is one of the most objective news agencies out there. The CBC and BBC are also held in high esteem. The point isn't that other countries treat their prisoners worse than we do, and I include Canada in this, but that we should treat our pris...

But speaking out against the politics has little or nothing to do with speaking out against the troops. If you watched the 250,000 strong protest in New York last weekend you might have noticed that most of the protestors interviewed expressed support for the troops. If you read the signs in the cro...

Pack up the wife and kids and move them north, gangrenous. Move back to the US after the American government has sorted things out.

The Americans are stupid...just like the rest of us. The human race might have big brains, but we really aren't that adept at using them. What separates the US from the rest of us at this point is that their country has been usurped by what I like call Pig-Fucking Greed Hogs. Up here in Canada we ar...

I think we should send Celluci home. Strip him naked and pin a note to his chest demanding a real diplomat as ambassador, then toss him out of a moving car within sight of the US border guards. The man is an embarrassment to Americans and to the diplomatic profession. Chretien's been doing a fair jo...
