I'm an army reservist here in Saskatoon, and I'm going to law school right now; so far no conflicts. School comes first, but you have to be committed -- that's what they're looking for. It's not just another part time job, as they say. Depending on where you are, it may take a while to get the ball ...

I would have to agree with him, what's the point in going this far if we don't commit to it fully. If the Afghan Government told us to leave, than I am all for leaving. However just because a few citizens become war complainers is no reason to ditch with our effort's in the dust. No matter what the...

The Torys recived less votes and got less seats then needed to form a majority government. The GG has the right to appoint a prime minister from a coalition of political parties with the most seats in the House of Commons. Simplistic and wrong as ever donny boy Actually, that's a concise and 100% a...

I don't think a high amount of party discipline is necessarily a good thing in any democracy. You can claim, perhaps rightly, that representatives are inherently biased for their constituency but that is their job, not to pursue policy as determined by the party. It depends on what your priorities ...

Don't you just love the thinking of the coalition supporters Who said I supported the coalition? I never said it was a good idea. It's probably political suicide. All I'm saying is that it's legitimate, democratic, and legal; anyone who says otherwise is a delusional partisan yes-man. Let's say for...

Currently, any spending bill in the United States must originate in the House of Representatives. To change the USA to the British system, it would be one of the President's Cabinet, most likely the Secretary of the Treasury, who would originate such spending bills. If the British system changed to...

So once again, knowing that 75% of Canadians would rather have another election than see the coalition take power is it still democratic in the minds of all those coalition supporters to try and follow through with this plan of theirs? What people want or don't want doesn't matter a bit outside the...
