I'm curious as to the opinions here that if DeSantis also expresses interest in being the Republican candidate wouldn't he be the better choice over Trump? DeSantis is definitely more rational and coherent than Trump. But he has the personality of a brick and his schtick is mainly culture war BS. I...

Stepping back to what this thread started out about... Remember that humour is subjective. Being a comedian, especially stand-up/improv must be very challenging nowadays when they have to really gauge the crowd they are standing before. I love watching this type of comedy and have even gone to some ...

I posted a pretty science-based tweet on Twitter on mask mandates and was jumped all over for being anti-mask. I posted another tweet a few days later and was jumped all over for being with the "mask forever" crowd. The tweets were basically identical. lol Sounds like reality to me....

I just knew that at some point there would be an incident in which a missile would miss Ukraine and strike a neighbouring country and thus change the scope of the invasion. So far Russia is, of course, denying that they had anything to do with it despite the FACT that they are bombarding Ukraine wit...

So I'm driving an hour south to the next town and while I'm there I will do a couple weeks grocery shopping. And go for dinner where they don't serve puke and are actually open when people eat dinner. An hour drive isn't so bad to do a good stock up every couple of weeks. It'll be worth it I'm sure.

Tuesday’s midterm election saw Gen Z come out strong for Democrats, including for their generation’s first U.S. repres...
