Won't be the first time, or the last one either, where a state like Florida with it's fully-owned-by-the-NRA Republican government drops the hammer without mercy on a woman who either uses a firearm to protect herself from her male partner or acts pre-emptively (and completely non-violently) to get ...

Apparently the planes weren't in the air when he "called them back". They were ready to go but Trump cancelled the op long before they were going to leave the ground or the carrier decks. Even when he inadvertently brushes close to doing the right thing he can't stop himself from lying abo...

Naw, just lots of excuses during the election for Roy Moore though, a hardcore evangelical who'd been credibly accused by multiple underage victims. And he's running again in 2020, and will get the Alabama GOP nomination again, just like he kept getting elected over and over and over again to the st...

Sorry Jared, I'm still trying to process being told to go be the MAGA I apparently always wanted to be, despite three years of active posting about what an evil rat bastard Donald Trump is, because I'm not loving Canada in the appropriate way as our federal government destroys the place I live in. L...

If Alberta were an American state or territory right now we'd be booming again, just like the US O&G sector is. But we're not, and probably never will again, and the only reason why it's like this now is because we're being deliberately crippled by the Canadian federal government.

Better the child suffers than the teacher thinks. Jordan Peterson blows this idiocy apart. Wonder how long it will take before centuries of careful study of how young children develop gets abolished as anaethema and only pro-trans "studies" get accepted as official education system doctri...

Canada doesn't have lax gun laws. Canada has poor policing of the organized crime groups that bring guns in from the United States. Canada also has very poor street-level policing of those most likely to be selling illegal guns in our big cities because that kind of policing has been "determine...

OK, we all know Alberta is a province and gave up a fair whack of its oil revenue to spendthrift federal governments and equalization but what about the rest of the money? Is there nothing to be learnt from Norway’s good example? Comparing a province with a nation is an apples to oranges comparison...

Why should a victim of theft and robbery be "held accountable" for anything at all if what was stolen from them is used for nefarious activities by a criminal? Why are liberals so obsessed with imposing harsh collective guilt on just for owning something that liberals just don't like? Psyc...
