I tried Half Pint's Bull Dog Amber and Little Scrapper IPA last weekend. They are absolutely great. Like the best homemade beer you ever had. Unfortunately Half Pint is so "micro" you'll likely only ever find them in Winnipeg. Do try it if you're in town.

"But if you wish to be an atheist you may still wish to emulate some of the lifestyle choices that Jesus encouraged just because they make good sense." I'd use the word "chose" rather than "wish" but amen to that statement. If we all lived by the golden rule we would ha...

YOu'll get it back and more. These Chinese funds will be just like any others. Look at the ups and downs Canadian market funds experienced over the last 10 years. These last couple of years I"ve finally recouped losses from the early aughts'. Smart investors don't panic.

Went in knowingly. I"m young enough to be high-risk tolerant with my investments for a few more years. I view this as the fund (and market) stabilizing itself to a more reasonable plateau.

There goes the 13% per quarter rate of return my Investors Group China Fund earned in last quarter 2006. This is not good news for all Canadians.

Abbas, At 46 I'm not a kiddo so don't appreciate your condescension, nor do I need to catch up. I've posted comments in other forums regarding the "value" of organized religions...guess you (and hwacker) missed those. Regarding not seeing lipstick (which I don't wear as I don't feel a woma...

Abbas said: "Typical idiotic thinking. Keep thinking that way and its you that will need to step into the 21st century, use this thing called internet and do your research otherwise making rants like a cave man doesn't help you become "modern". Don't blame the religion, blame the peop...

Lady, you're in Canada. Get a civil divorce, renounce your official membership in a sexist religion and join the 21st century. You can be just as religious and continue to have a spiritual life without submitting to ancient misogynistic religious rules and laws. And if you are truly serious on being...

This isn't news. The family has already talked about turning his estate into a Graceland type exhibit complete with keeping the body in a mausoleum on-site. OH just, noticed this story is two weeks old.

Heads in buckets! As audacious as these murders are I find it hard to believe they would leave that kind of evidence around. I thought they were put through the woodchipper ala Fargo which is why they are relying on bits and pieces of DNA evidence. I won't be missing the newscasts tonight.

I agree with Ridenrain. Unfortunately I can no longer find the stories I would like to link to at The Tyee (Vancouver area ezine)that insinuated the police may have played a part in delivering some of the murdered women to the farm. They also had another article that discussed the possibility that a...
