Roscoe, my point is - experience counts. It doesn't matter whether you got your backside kicked or won the day. Experience in battle is priceless, not something that can be taught in a desert, jungle or forest. What does canukistan send it's troops to do? Peacekeeping, period. We are a shadow of our...

You're a good man Evan. This country could use another half-dozen or so like you. :P

Let me put my thoughts this way folks, and you tell me if I'm sniffin' vapors, ok? Noxious fumes maybe. I think you'll find nonrev, that the majority of people poking at canukistan are canadians. It's a great pastime and legal to boot. It's great to blame canada. Clearly canada is guilty!!

Suddenly, Canada's looking pretty ugly to the US. "Why did we take this country over in the first place?", they begin to ask themselves. Just because it's there? Natural Resources? Land? I know what I would do. What? Beat them to death with firearm registration slips? Smother them in bureaucratese?...

The federal flatfeet have been implicated in this scandal, and not a peep from the Zacchadoodledoo the commish, he of the $4,000.00 booties and 1/4 million dollar office upgrade. Now it appears as though La Sûreté du Québec aka SQ aka SAQ will be conducting investigations within Quebec in order t...

I couldn't agree more:

rev's entry

On a more serious note, if I were pm I would immediately strike a new law outlawing all french canadians who vacation anywhere in the world to cease and desist in the wearing of speedos and subject those with hairy backs to laser treatment.

Nobody gives a rat's ass about Gaelic. It's not a functional language. Business will determine what languages survive. Imposed bi/tri/whatever lingualism will not determine survival. French is doomed and the french know it. Hence the desperate measures to sustain it in a world driven by dollars, eur...

It's a dismal situation indeed. All around the western-hemisphere huge corporations have crumbled and continue to crumble. So many large corporations, thousands and thousands of employees, jobs, pensions, dreams, lives - gone. For what? So some asshole in a white shirt and tie sitting at the top can...

where is the Al-Queda supposed to be strongest? Lethbridge. I thought everyone knew that. How soon you forget or deliberately choose to ignore. Immediately after 9/11 a number of known terrorist groups active in Canada were publicly named and placed on a list denying them access to banks, money mar...

It would be great if someone in the know would post an explanation as to how electricity costs on a residential invoice are arrived at. It appears to be a complex process. Another welcome explanation would describe how electricity is imported/exported. And more; if I have a surplus of electricity in...

I don't recall the name of the book I read dealing with the US invading Canada. Essentially what the US did was fool the air traffic controllers at Toronto International, land a huge amount of very well equipped soldiers and equipment and simply take over. Almost no loss of life and token resistance...

buford dear boy, who said anything about tax breaks and why wouldn't they go elsewhere? It's all about bottom lines which some folk seem to think are bottomless. The exodus of firms from Ummurika and Canukistan is proof. Shareholders, you know, those people who invest hard earned money, expect a ret...

You Adam, are living in the wrong country. I frequently refer to Canada as Canukistan, but we're not there yet. Rev, that's typically a left wing response - tax business. You tax business and the cost of those goods or services increases to offset and maintain bottom lines. Resulting in job loss and...

I'll assume that's tonque-in-cheek Adam. 'Cause you nearly fooled me with that statement. Crouton and pmpm managed to thwart that process, albeit not without assistance from the disarrayed opposition.
