Quebec seems to have stolen a lot from Canada and given nothing except Celin Dion,... Ewww. Celine Dion, she remindes me of a scrawny free range chicken. Yuk! And there sooo many women in western kweebec who look just like her. Wonder if there's enough interest in a thread dedicated not to the one ...

I'm surprised the software didn't pick up on the "N" word and automatically turn it into something else such as 'bum' or 'jerk'. Does the software pick up the "C" word? Two words that should be picked up, no?

I disagree Adam. Although the reasons for this war are suspect, and the war itself appears to be dragging on longer than most thought, many countries have provided money and/or written off loans to Iraq to assist them during these embroiled times. The US has requested the assistance of the lame-duck...

Transfer funds once obtained from the federal gov't tend to disappear into general revenue and not be spent on the specific line items such as highways, health care, policing, etc. It's clear the federal government can't be trusted with our money. Why would you think a provincial government would be...

PR is definitely a step in the right direction and something I'd like to see instituted along with a two-term system such as the US has. Combined, there would be much less opportunity for the sleaze we are witnessing today. Crouton deliberately closed parliament early last year to avoid having to de...

No, there were no terrorist attacks in Iraq prior to US presence. They weren't tolerated as evidenced by the near genocide of the Kurds.

I'm not so sure the current spate of attacks should be classified as terrorist.

Rev, I don't dispute any of what you say. But this is all after the fact and post 9/11. Is GW and his dirty dozen dirty? Perhaps and maybe even likely. I think it's time to move on from the criticism, be pro-active (I hate that term) and deal with the details of kipling's five little men later. In t...

The deed is done and conspiracy theories abound. If you examine the reasons for going without delving into CTs, it was the right response to 9/11. Now that the US is in Iraq the surrounding countries have begun to tow the line regarding terrorism. I doubt we will ever know the number of attacks that...

When I moved to BC it always struck me as odd that the very people who called us Easterners spoke with British accents. Those that didn't may have been there a generation or two. The only true left coasters are the natives and east-indian communities. The east-indians have been in BC for a couple of...

It's a grrrrreat show. People in the elements and after all these shows they still can't get it right. Shelter, fire then water/food. If the first can be produced within the first two days then they're laughing and warm and maybe a little thirsty and hungry. Richard Hatch just kills me. He's keeping...

Yeti, methinks you ponder too much too deeply. How did you react to the display of a black boob? Do those who weren't offended require a sociology un oh un also, or would you grant them a passing grade in marketing101? I hope this doesn't affect your sleep patterns. Lighten up homme.

Tried to post to a second thread immediately after posting elsewhere. Got a message that said I was posting too soon after the first. What's with that? How long must one wait? Don't you find it can kill the flow of a thrust and parry, retort, response, joke, fun?
