All I want is to take this one winter off and use the time to figure out my life and be ready to do something real by summer.

Well take it off, I have no problems with that... just don't expect to get paid for it.

And they say Americans are the assholes...

Oh don't be mean. He did work! After serving the 16 week waiting period for getting fired, he should be entitled to at least a $1.59 EI cheque... I know that y'all like trolling but some real answers would be appreciated. I'm not like one of those drunk natives that sit around on welfare or get a f...

What's really sad is that he's come back on this forum still trying to get someone to validate his scams and do the leg work for him. Time to place him on ignore because in all the time he's been gone he still hasn't learned how to use google or Ask Jeeves. What's really sad is that I've made like ...

I Just got on with a roofing company and got fired after only a week cuz I wasn't fully up to par after being away from roofing for a decade. But considering roofing is considered seasonal work, I wonder if I could still obtain seasonal unemployment and just say I'm taking the winter off. Like, will...

You think BC is bad, try living in Ontario as a new driver... I would have literally had to pay 400 per month on insurance as a new driver. BC isn't that bad. I've got an accident on my record and still only pay 600$ for 6 months for my motorcycle here.

For starters, I know that I could google this but I am asking some specifics that would be nicer if I could get some info from some folks with experience and also avoid ads and people paid to make 'opinions' about products. I am looking for a wireless headset that is really good at cancelling outsid...

I'm asking due to your very first post on our forum: As a landlord is it possible in any way to get the tenant to have welfare wire the monthly cheque directly to you? I have a tenant right now that isn't exactly trustworthy. I can trust him in my place but he has substance abuse issues and when he...

Just curious....in your first post on this site you said you were a landlord with tenant problems. Are you also a tenant with landlord problems?

Sounds more like a failed landlord who is now someone else's tenant.

Not sure what you're talking about. I'm not a landlord and never have been.

I live in an apartment in BC and the roof is being redone. I understand that this is in essence an emergency repair as there have been leaks in the roof but the landlord gave minimal notice to the tenants and no written notice. It sounds like they're coming through the damn roof and they're putting ...

One final point(that I should have made much earlier). A lot of the answers that you find when doing a google search are from threads that people have created (like this one with with less needless trolling). People make threads, they ask questions and the questions get answered. I may not be answer...

So you insulted FOG and all our American members in the same post... damn you're good. [B-o] Strange though you were a member in a lot of other forums (so you're told us) but still have problems with online etiquette. Tell the truth now, how many places have banned you? And one last comment... you'...

"and as a noob on this forum who never participates" Guess you're too stupid to comprehend that "noob" is a stupid childish spelling of the word newb which is short for newbie. It means a person is NEW to something. I suppose you expect everyone that's new to the forum to go to w...

That looks like a lot of people to avoid.. How do I know who's who? "the Malvinas belong to Argentina" not really sure what you mean by that.. Then you need to read up on the Falklands War of 1982. Not saying you'll be asked about it but it's like going to Northern Ireland and not knowing...

I'd make a prediction, but I think that most of you already know what it is. Ya, I'm probably going to get banned. As I said before, plenty of forums out there, so no big. Getting chewed out for asking questions on a forum isn't making this forum the most attractive place to be in the first ...
