Well, we haven't had another SARS scare, and no recent BSE cases... the Softwood Lumber issue is slowly being resolved (if you want to call it that) ... so these ppl need something.

We are forever going to be reprimanded for not going to Iraq.

Good job Catherine. I enjoyed reading this. I makes you think: how DO we perceive our supposed "enemy" ?? It makes you think how they see us as well. I am sure there is a lot of propaganda on both sides. I don't think that we've been subjected to more propaganda over the last 10-20 years.....

Honestly, I am sorry to see him go.

He may only have 55% of the support from his own party, but voter support is much higher. I think the problem that all Albertans are having with this issue is that he's been here for so long, it's frightening to have someone else in power....

Well... when it comes to party funding - I can agree - it must be hard to campain with a small amount. I don't make this an personal issue.. however -- I find it quite arrogant when a new party comes along promising changes in our stagnant government, but can't put themselves out there for ppl to in...

hmmm... Perhaps in Okotoks they remove the sign along the highways, and in neighborhoods... but there was nothing wrong with say.. for example -- going along Robinson Drive and seeing if ppl would be interested in having a sign put up on their lawn.. I drive by in my vehicle and think... "hmmm....

Okay.. I am just going to say this and then leave it alone until tomorrow. The CAP needs to do some homework here.. IMO... and here's why: On a Provincial Level -- the people of this Province have been very Pro-Conservative... the same can be said for their views on a Federal Level... but look at th...

I am aware of her campaign in Highwood as an NDP. When you belong to one of the three largest parties in Canada ppl tend to know your viewpoints on things, and don't necessarily have to visit Vive to read them!! hmmm... okay then Dr. Caleb... if you don't live in the riding, then... ahem. how would ...

Couch potatoe... how did you know??!! lol. Actually.. you can just call me the "armchair politician".. !! Nope - in a perfect world everyone would have access to a computer to see Catherine's views on Vive.. and this is a great forum.. wish more ppl did visit. Unfortunately -- the single p...

Sorry... I have to add to my comment. If the CAP is so strongly against Conservative and Liberal views -- a good way to convince ppl of this would be to do a door to door campain -- the CAP candidate in my riding did nothing of the sort. That's the simple point I make in my comment regarding the CAP...

Well I am glad that Vive has had something on the CAP since the election was called 8 weeks ago.. am I to assume then that everyone has computers, and furthermore -- every person with a computer visits Vive? Probably not. Although it is nice to see a politician actively posting articles on Vive, per...

Sorry - but I've seen the documentary "Big Sugar" all this week on the CBC. We have a lot more to worry about than getting fat. Diabetes, behavior problems, and of course - the sugar industry promotes slavery in places like Dominican Republic, and other places. I watched "Supersize Me...

Glad to see some Albertans on here!!! I've heard people out east complaining again on the news!! It's only $400.00 people - is this what it's come down to?? Why should we carry the rest of you people on our shoulders?? It's too bad this is Klein's last term - I'd vote for him again - he has the peop...
