What could be interesting is if we sold the rights to exploit oil in our North to a company, but in the contract we would have to include that this company recognizes that they are exploiting oil on Canadian territory. Couldn't this be a good way to protect our Northern sovereingty? Russia military ...

Blue_Nose Blue_Nose:
mapleleafsnation, please tell me you learned about logic from the back of a soda cracker box, because what you've been putting out here would make Aristotle puke.

And the fact you failed to support this idea with any arguments at all tells us what about your logic?

I think sick people shouldn't be accepted in Canada if the diseases are not curable or if they're serious. It's dangerous for the citizens (they can get infected) and costly. Think about the people inside first, the people outside second. It's also completely rational, so nobody can say people are b...

Well the graph shows that gold is a crappy long-term investment. I mean we hit a peak not too long ago but it crashed down right after. I would still head in the more speculative stock market (Just waiting for the economy to be at it's lowest point). Over 20 years they always gain value (if they don...

"Don't care. I don't need your endorsement to establish independent objectivity." -Mustang1,the fact that you actually took time to answer to it is proof enough to show that you actually care. Were you trying to refute that? I doubt so because I cited you. I stated that I agree. That is a ...

Well Westendguy... Harper made us a Nation.... if he ever gets a majority he will give us full independence... I think he is a closet separatist... (opinion) I actually have a caricature of that posted on my wall. 'Quebec is a nation inside a nation.' There were never any arguments that Quebec is a...

Mustang corporatism is the equivalent of a government that is a 'capitalist paradise'. A market liberal government would adopt a form (not a pure form) of corporatism. Corporations goal is to gain power in their own fields of society. That completely goes against fascism as it splits power among cor...

The current Republican president has many policies that are actually a step backwar...

ManifestDestiny, define fascism. I want to know what you consider fascism to be. (Don't bring me the Wikipedia definition, wikipedia is the equivalent of a politician saying 'the friend of a friend told me' in a serious study). Exactly. I'd like to see a working definition of "fascism" as...

Why ban immigration? It's going to solve everything? Why not do something about the long-standing social inequality in those neighborhoods? 99% of them in Montreal? Where was that from? This would mean that only 500 immigrants didn't head to Montreal. This seems like a stretch. Also the 'City Living...
