I think that it is time to find another country who will opress its people for our confort. One who can deliver for cheaper... and safely. Or we could "spread the word of democracy", like in Iraq and Afghanistan! What, no one wants to invade China? It's par for the course. We don't care a...

Mattel's cash was the only thing American that went into that factory, the Chinese run everything else. Foreign partners are always getting screwed over by Chinese partners. You do realize that two-thirds of factories are 100% foreign-owned, right? China is a member of the WTO, and thus has a very ...

Uhm, that was for street racing. They are not applying the law correctly in my opinion... You're right, it's stupid application of the law, but this guy also seems a little dense. Stainthorpe, a 33-year-old registered nurse, admitted he was speeding, but was furious that police wouldn't let him off...

Hence, Mattel accepted some of the blame for the shitty products coming out of their factories. Like you said, Mattel accepted some of the blame for the shitty products coming from their factory. Why shouldn't they? It's their product, they have to be accountable. I fail to see how it's a "Chi...

But from what I do remember he never really played with any heart and from the old stories ive read he was always a me first kinda player which i dont respect Meh, "heart" is subjective. He had a bad rep since the bullshit with Quebec. Cold hard statistics say he was phenomenal for a peri...

Ah, you must be a young Philly fan. Lindros tore shit up for the Flyers. He just couldn't fend off injuries.

They were just talking about wither or not lindros should be in the hall of fame. I would say no.. he was a half assed player who came into the NHL in the most arrogant way and from what I've read he's never won a stanley cup There's no way he can make the Hall of Fame, his career wasn't nearly lon...

No, it just puts your big words in context. You must pay a massive amount of tax that funds our war machine eh? Uh, I also work, like it's any of your business. Also, I don't care if I contribute $100 in taxes, it's still my money. And it pays your salary. It does. Er can I have a raise? Not until ...

Maximum? What a joke. Look at the details.

None of Mattel's designs specified lead paint in their toys. For that matter, why hasn't anybody raised the question of what the hell is China making lead paint for anyway? And the Crown Vic's designs didn't call for gas tanks that were exploding under mild rear-end collision. Yet that's wha...

Then prohibit imports from China. You solve two problems that way: no more crappy and dangerous products coming to your country and no more profits for a greedy corporation. Well that certainly is the solution if we're willing to pay the cost through higher prices. We aren't. So Mattel goes to China.
