Who says either nation is headed for a split? Regarding Canada at least, we've been dealing with problems of separation for 130 years and are still going strong.

Louis Riel Jr. during the second rebellion (North West Rebellion) where he claimed he spoke directly to God. During the first rebellion, he did alright, but it all fell apart after he went nutzo for the second one.

They told us at that time that their job as representatives was different. They really work 24/7. What garbage that was First of all you have to give Federal politicians some credit. For example, Mr. Dosanj happened to be on my flight yesterday. I had a brief converstation with me and it turns out ...

I predict the conservatives winning a minority, and a large minority as well. I think Harper has learned from his mistakes last go around, and listened to his critics. He's saying the right things, and making the right decisions. The question will be, will he be able to pull off a majority, and if n...

I just generally do not like Hasek. I don't like his style, his attitude, and him in entirety. Then again, being a Canucks fan, I'm a natural for pointing out a goaltender's weaknesses.

In an election that's going to be as close as the one in the spring, I'll vote for the party I want to win, the Tories. If it looks like the Conservatives are going to win by a landslide, I might think about voting Green, but if it's close, or the Liberals are in the lead by any margin, I'm going to...

I agree, the Sens are doing really well this year, but as for the last post, they've got a way of not making past the second round when it comes down to the games that matter. Lest we forget another canadian team that's kicking ass and still undefeated at home... the Canucks. While the Sens are 10 a...

Streaker, are pute, salope, agasse or garce derogatory? I lot of words have moer than one meaning. As far as I know, having spent 3 summers in Quebec, calling someone a, 'salope' means you're calling them a whore! Therefore, don't use it unless you really mean it. It's a form of french slang, and i...

To provide the proper western flavor to the test, you need to know that the test you still have to take has already been rendered irrelevant because the first 3/4 of the class has already decided and whatever you do won't matter. That's not so bad because the teacher knew you'd be in this situation...

This is a prime example of why Canadians need to take terrorism more seriously. We need to stop thinking that we are exempt from these threats if for no other reason than protecting the North American contenent. I'm not saying everyone needs to run around being in a constant state of fear, but we ne...

Todd Bertuzzi got off to a slow start and was repeatedly booed everytime he touched the puck when the Canucks played abroad. With a month of play under his belt, is the old Bert back? Will he ever perform like he has in the last 2 seasons he played? I think so, I think he is, and I think this season...

Fortunatley, the Monarchy role in Canada is just a figure-head role. They hold no real power other than symbolic. Its important to remeber our roots, however its also important not to ceed power to Britian as we have in the past century. The moves by Canada in the past century to strip Britian of it...

And there's only one corner, too. On second thought, though, you might want to steer clear of Strathmore... Ewwww...... 8O Wow, I just read that article... That's absolutely terrible. I feel so bad for those kids. I can't imagine the kind of person it would take to do something like that!
