Video DetailsThis scene is repeated far to often here in Canada. This is my tribute to our fallen Heroes!---Update 16-May-2010--- Looks like WMG has removed their copyright objection. Thank you to everyone whose comments clearly highlighted the absurdity of their actions. My heart goes out to the families who endure the loss of their loved ones. Canada grieves with you every step of the way. ---Update 18-Feb-2009--- It is unfortunate that WMG has exercised their rights to protect this copy righted material. I am not sure if there is an option available to allow me to resolve this copyright issue. I am looking to contact the songwriter (Mark Knoplfer) via his web site and through intermediaries. Hopefully there is a solution that will allow this tribute to continue. In the meantime I appreciate the positive responses from this video. Please don't begrudge WMG as I'm sure this was a unilateral move on all potential violations on YouTube. If they actually saw the video I'm confident that would reverse their decision. In the meantime please enjoy the lyrics and remember those soldiers lost.. These mist covered mountains Are a home now for me But my home is the lowlands And always will be Some day you'll return to Your valleys and your farms And you'll no longer burn To be brothers in arm Through these fields of destruction Baptism of fire I've witnessed your suffering As the battles raged higher And though they did hurt me so bad In the fear and alarm You did not desert me My brothers in arms There's so many different worlds So many different suns And we have just one world But we live in different ones Now the sun's gone to hell And the moon's riding high Let me bid you farewell Every man has to die But it's written in the starlight And every line on your palm We're fools to make war On our brothers in arms Permalink Share on Facebook |
