Justin Trudeau's blind hatred of anti-vaxxers I'm done with Rex. That article is spot on. The Prime Minister of Canada can't pick and choose who he represents, no matter his personal feelings, nor can he single out a province (due to his French background) and pronounce them innocent of everything ...

Trudeau still being PM is a 'slap in the face' to all Canadians.

I concur with going Saab. It's a great looking fighter than can fit our needs, and be outfitted for any and all missions. The single engine is a small drawback, but as Thanos said the Swedes know what they're doing.

Plus, we can get a lot more of them than that stupid F-35 for the price.

Mexico is a major supplier to North Americas car industry. Don't you work in the car repair industry? How many cars would you repair if Mexico didn't make the parts; seats, or wiring looms, or fuel injectors? A lot of the vehicles we repair are made in the USA. Most of the Hondas we repair are made...

I had chronic bronchitis for almost 30 years. Started around the age of 8 or 9, and ended three years ago (age 38). My mom had the same thing, and hers vanished when she was 37. Our family has a small history with it, but I'm clear of it now. I've had one cold in three years that only lasted two day...

The right to free speech and peaceful assembly is guaranteed as well as law. Only an emergency order from the Prime Minister and voted in favour of by the majority of the House can even have a chance of usurping that, and such a motion/vote is a long shot at best.

Not at all. I simply think I will be all right on my own. I believe in my own immune system, which has improved drastically since I stopped having chronic bronchitis. I don't get sick at the drop of a hat these days, and I'm glad.

Why wouldn't you want the best protection that you could get? I mean you have made it this far through all the shutdowns, restrictions, and cancellations. I got the first two shots, which were supposed to be the 'best protection'. Fully vaccinated people can contract the virus regardless. I'm not i...

I still have no plans to get the booster. Wasn't interested when it was announced, still not interested now. If other people like it, power to you. Me? Nah.

Perhaps, but fires in the cold of winter are not unheard of nor out of the question. Bitter cold means a dry cold. A couple years before I moved to my present location in Barrie, a forest fire started north of here in a county forest in January. Temps were -20*C that week, and when the winds from th...

Within the span of six hours, it went from no fire, to a small brush fire, to a fire spanning many square kilometers burning nearly 600 homes to the ground, and become the state’s costliest fire to date. All in six hours. Fires can do that, and quickly. One match or ember or lightning strike can tu...

Good riddance to 2021. Personally, 2021 wasn't that bad. I finally changed careers after more than two years od trying, and gained a loving girlfriend. 2020 was an unmitigated disaster, but 2021 wasn't too bad. That being said, there is always room for improvement. May we all have a better year in ...
