Listened to her on a radio interview this morning. Besides being in favour of LRTs over subways she had no other firm positions. Just BS hyperbole. I think she'll find that will only take her so far. She tries that in a debate, something I doubt she's ever had to do (I mean a real debate), she'll g...

The people that gave their all, and some their lives for this, showed the world what Canada is really made of. At the end ...

Was that Harper though, or was that the banking regulations that were there before Harper took office? Euro banking regulations were fairly tight until 2008, when the roof caved in. Italy and Greece have government spending issues, not banking problems per se. Complain about too much gov't spending...

Can someone help me out here and tell me something he really did to help Canada grow. If you stick your head out of the window of the old folk's home, you might notice the beating the rest of the world has taken over the past couple of years, while Canada has gotten off pretty much scott free. Grow...

As for the left. The NDP has always appealed to my social bent , but i just cannot vote for them. I don't know why, i think it is a propaganda thing. The last incarnations of the Liberals was truly insane. It led me to believe what dear old dad said. That huge money runs this country and they choose...

I feel ruled under Harper. I turn to some of his immigration policies and love the guy, but that could be because i find myself turning into a racist on paper. He has done squat for the economy no matter what the ads say. His choice in cronies is very questionable . But that could be due to the amou...

Jacques Parizeau is not only an asshole, he's also an idiot. actually he might be an asshole but he is very very clever and not an idiot at all. I know full well you're part French and French Canadian. That doesn't change the fact that you were the one who brought up the question of ancestry and th...

If you are my age you could not handle the look of disappointment on their faces after you are lying in bed gasping for life.
