He released a 1 Billion dollar aid package designed to help small communities recover from economic diversities. I'd say ol' Steven Harper is more liberal than the Liberals are.
We shall see, we shall see. I live near Meadow Lake and am looking forward to the dancing in the streets [knight]

Well, we could always go back to the Liberals, they want to increase the GST, They want to dump another billion dollars into the gun registry. The Liberals would rather call Bush a moron, than reconcile trade disputes with the US.

Wrong as always. Dion wants to cut income tax rates rather then GST rates, a move that economist (and anybody aquainted with logic) sees as more benficial.

A billion dollars into the registry? Prove it. Of course we could always just say thats only 1/25th of the 25 billion Harper blew on vote buying schemes, 25 billion that could have gone to the tax cuts he promised or the military purchases he promised.

As for calling bush a moron, well he is. A horse is a horse of course. Reconcile trade disputes? The Libs handled trade disputes quite well and never once backed down from the US and Harpers "resolvement" of the softwood dispute was an already inked Liberal deal. What other trade kudos has he acomplished?

As for looking more liberal then the Liberals it certainly possible considering he has the money to make it appear that way. I guess all the old BS about the Liberals being a tax and spend party will now shift to Harper's CPC as they are doing just that.

Quite the reversal eh? The Liberals prove to be fiscally responsible and slash taxes time and time again and the Conservatives become a tax and spend party.

Chretien took a long time to say no. that tells me that for a short period he wanted to send troops.

You're making up excuses after the fact, and deluding yourself in the process.

I third that. Its also very telling that despite proof to the contrary the official CKA Con (anti-Liberal variety) belief has been that harper wouldn't have sent us there (bollocks), and/or that Chretien didn't send us there because the CF was to ill-equiped.

Its amazing that the same people who bitch and moan that Chretien sent us to afghanistan woefully ill-equiped didn't put us in Iraq because we were ill-equiped to do so.

They haven't got thing 1 right with reagrds to either issue and we are supposed to trust our country to their choosen leader?

(shudder)

WTF?

I was trying to make a witty response to Tman1's "who won the Grey Cup last years" and I got a blocking error then it disappeared?

Bwhahaahahahaha. Sorry, I deleted that after I learned that Fifeboy was from Sask so I thought, "ahh he already covered that".

Although now that Kent is gone to his home roots in the U.S (like that was in doubt) this may be the last cup Sask sees in awhile, until another drifter comes in to lead us to the cup.
