The first one is MUCH better in my honest opinion. More organized.

Works great on my Ipod also.

The RSS feed is much different from a mobile website. Sure you can view the RSS feed on a mobile, but you cannot view the actual topics, post, reply, login, track which topics you've read and so on.

In what way do you think it is not "formatted that well"?

Well from the Iphone the rss site lists all current topics with a breif preamble of the current post. If I click on the topic safari then goes to the topic where it already has my login settings so it is just like the main site in that I can post, edit, reply etc. Works fine.

The m.canadaka site shows a quarter page and from a touch screen that means I need to zoom in a lot so I can select anything and has no info on the topic other than who posted. Add to this it lists EVERY possible forum and sub forum while squeezing it on only one part of the screen. Impossible to read unless you zoom and have to load and reload frequently pages as you miss and select a topic you didn't want. A waste of download from a mobile phone that needs to be abbreviated. To me it looks like a waste of real estate on an already small screen, thus bad format. Hope this helps.

Hmm. I don't have that problem and I've got a touch screen too. Everything is sized nicely so I can read without having to zoom in. I personally do prefer the m.canadaka version

Yah i don't really know what your talking about scape, I don't have an iphone to test. I have an HTC Touch with Windows Mobile and the site fits fullscreen on it.

I used this site http://iphonetester.com/ to test and it seems full screen on this, don't need to do any zooming. But i don't know if thats actualy how it looks on an iphone. I made the mobile sites max-width 480 pixels, which is the width of the iphone screen sideways.

The main advantage of the mobile site is the page sizes though. They are much smaller and will load much faster on mobile internet.

I was thinking about changing the forum index page, it is very long having all the forums. Maybe I could ditch the forum descriptions and just have a plain list.

hmm yah on Windows Mobile IE its fullscreen. I guess that website to test iphone is useless then. Can you not double tap to zoom in once? Do you not have to zoom in for the RSS feed as well though?

I will have to investigate how to make it fullscreen on the iphone. I tried adding some iphone meta tags, does it look any different now?

That was as of 5 mins ago so no. I can double tap to zoom but in context so you really are looking at double tap and then 5 manual zooms just to be able to tap on the forum recent page number which are obscenely small.

Sorry for the delay, had to walk they boys. As you can see this is better but it still make the page numbers really small.

I will try to make it a bit more touch friendly. I usually use my stylus when browsing, but i guess the iphone doens't have one. Glad to see its fullscreen now. Does it stretch the entire width if viewing widescreen?

As you can see on the left there is this tiny, tiny, tiny icon. That is the most recent post link.
