I've deleted hundreds of posts with photos tonight using Google Image search and the tool I linked above. Its simple stuff like this that I have to remove. Stuff you'd see walking down the street anyway on a billboard... sigh.

archiving is one thing, when it's something anyone will want to read again in the future. i have serious doubts that anyone will want to read old bickering message board posts from ten years ago between people who likely have never, or likely will never, meet each other. maybe in a thousand years, as some kind of anthropological study, if any of the data survives that long. even my old posts on the National Capital Freenet from the 90s seem to have finally evaporated into the ether, although i wouldn't mind privately seeing some of them again just to see how things have changed. but that is only because i made some life-long friends there and it was during my formative years.

The video doesn't change between accounts, it's whether there are ads or not. Both would see the same video, one sees ads.

I'd think the TPP would be a far greater concern. Experts I read don't bode well for 'fair use', so it might be that all the movie references memes use might end up causing Trev to chase lots of takedown notices.

Wow Trevor, it's crappy that you are having these issues with the site. It sounds like a tremendous amount of effort to get things cleaned up to meet "approval".

As far as $ goes, would it help to get a donation drive going?

Went through that queue, starting on the last page (36) and worked my way to page 32. Reported posts with images as I found them, most of them under "Moderation Request".

Thanks, i went through all the reported posts. I also went through all 36 pages of that attachments viewing tool, but I'm sure i missed a bunch, so thnaks for taking a 2nd pass!

I have removed the ads from forum topic & post pages as well.

MAn looking at a bunch of that old content... Netabuser and Fartbasturd were weird guys!

It seems the list is endless of what can be seen as copy right material causing headaches, such as no longer being able to post AP stories.
