I have updated the "Newswatch" page with a new feature to help people submit news-links to the CKA News front-page faster and easier.

The newswatch pages has RSS feeds from some major Canadian news sources and now beside each news item is a "+" image. When clicked a popup window will appear with the news-link submission form pre-filled with title, link and description. All a user has to do is choose a topic category and just check the title and description. Pressing the submit button will submit the news item to the CKA News-Links.

I still have some work to do on this new feature, like checking to see if the news item has already been submitted or not. If so to not allow duplicates and instead allow the user to vote for the news item rather than submit it.

Just a reminder about the Newswatch page, which makes it fast to submit stories to the CKA News system on the homepage. Just click the red + button beside a news story to pre-populate the news submission form.
