Forgot last night that for 25 of the last 30 years Canada Day's been one of the most miserable days of the summer here. Left the roof off the Jeep and had to sit on towels to drive down to the Park and eat bannock. Tonight we'll join the crowd in idling cars with the heaters going and watch the fireworks through the windshield wipers. The beach is only 7 lots away, won't see them from that far away!

Happy Canada Day to all!
Rained, well, mostly misted all day. Oh well. Not like a whole hell of a lot happens here anyway for these occasions.

I honestly don't know if it's been that bad the last 30 years but it has been very cool, overcast and rainy the last 4 or 5 here.
