Had planned to take the kids and meet some friends in Hermitage park for a picnic and maybe some fishing in the trout pond... but now it looks like I'll spend the day llistening to the rain.
I think I might just go back to bed

Can't think of anything more Canuckian than going out for early morning canoeing and fishing followed up by a BBQ and beer.

That was the plan pretty much. Sadly the weather chose not to co-operate. Fishing in the rain with an almost 3 year-old and a 14 year-old is not my idea of a good Canada Day.

My Canada Flag is hanged in Montreal ! I got some insults this afternoon while I was watering my flowers from some young hippies with red square on their shirts and backward cap. I salute them with a nice "Bonne fête du Canada à vous aussi !"

We're hanging out in Morden this weekend.
Bella calls it her "Go Jets Go" flag.. Hahaha
Wrong, but definitely wins points for cuteness.

That'll probably happen before the Jets give her a reason to smile.
