I'd have to say 'not really' but then I've seen a LOT of documentaries. I thought the music was pretty cool, however, unless your film is 'no budget' I'd recommend getting a website for it. I had to click to it three times before I got it to work, and then the ad box blocked it out. If it was an animated gif or flash the print could have been bigger, and slower, since I couldn't read a good percentage of it. Some actually 'images' would have gone well with it, I do like the idea of it, and it has a great name. Websites are pretty cheap nowadays, as are domain name registrations.

D'oh.<br /> <br /> It's not a documentary. Student film.<br /> <br /> Ad box? Damn on my computer no ad box comes up.. and yes we're no budget. And it is flash. If I make the box any bigger there's mad latency. Even so it's still 2.5 megs.. which is why it takes a little bit to load up the first time. The sound gets all desynced easily too.<br /> <br /> Bah well.

I think you can link to my email address on here, and so if you want to email me we can try to figure out a way to get the file to me and I can at least host it for you at my site. I can't set you up with a domain name (I only get one), but at least you may get better results for viewers. We can try setting up an ftp or something, I think 2.5 mb is a little big for emailing. Don't take it personal but since I don't know you from adam I can't really give you my login information for posting. This way you can even perhaps make the print a little bigger and slow it down somewhat so people can read all the quotes. The music does really sell it. Just as another advertising suggestion you may want to set it up as a blog, those sites are free and have minimal programming needs, certainly nothing if you already know flash. Is the movie in flash, or just the trailer? Just as another added comment, a cool idea I had while watching it would be a photo coming up quick, then slowly fading while another quote comes down. Perhaps a new 'teaser' coming out each week (or month depending on what stage you're at), each with a little more 'tease' might be a good idea.
