Not sure how obscure my contributions have to be, but since Moneen was mentioned, I think I can safely post my own favorites.

New Canadian acts to watch; Les Georges Leningrad (playing at Calgary's Broken City on 1st of December); Chad Vangaalen; Shout Out Out Out Out; Whitey Houston; Holy Fuck; Elliot Brood; Frog Eyes; Cadence Weapon; Wax Mannequin.

Lots of different genres to check out, from Rap to Country to Experimental. Hope you find at least one that you enjoy.

It has been longer than I thought, good to be back. Thanks for noticing.

Life is good, been keeping busy. Canadian Rockers are comin out of the woodwork. The Doug Trucker Band just released a full length CD and Desert Rush are in the studio now working on their first full length disc.
