Yes sir, it is.

I guess they've had enough "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner" and decided to retaliate.

Any of that sort of...whiny music. Artists like Whitney Houston and people like that. Where they drag a note out forever and I dunno...it's just ear-explodingly agonizing to listen to.

Since we just passed the Christmas season...

"Sleigh Ride" - anybody's version, but most soul-shreddingly appalling when done by a high school orchestra.

You can just hear them lurching into that fake-swing section in the second verse, and know they'll screw it up every single time, and they always do.

Especially awful when done with all the fake sound effects.

Most especially that horn-as-horse-neigh at the end that makes your spine cringe.

It's insidious. It's a piece of music that accutally corrodes the brain cells that receive it's creepy anti-matter vibrations.

It's an empty abyss of vacuity that sucks the life out of the listener.

It not only is evil, it is the fountainhead of evil.

When we go to Hell, as we are all sure to do, this music will play on all the loudspeakers on a non-stop loop.

Jaime
I like elevator music . I guess you fell asleep to it on christmas woke up and it was still playing , although I'm surprised you survived .One would probably have had a better chance of survival at the twin tower explosions . I hope you don't still twitch when you hear the crack of a whip .

No argument here, Jaime; whoever decided to try to make concert bands swing (with their mechanical triplets) obviously went to the Lawrence Welk school of music.

However, my current vote comes in the form of eight words. You all know what I'm talking about:

My hump, my hump my hump my hump.

Drives me up the wall :x

I actually didn't mind that.... Though the horn at the end is annoying. For me, anything from My chemical romance, or anything emo. I say for all emo people, if you hate yourself that much, go run into a knife, you make this world a happier place (literally). Oh and alexisonfire can go die, seriously, stick a gun in your chest and pull the trigger, make sure your near a cliff so that if that doesn't kill you, the fall will....bastards

Surfin Bird by the Trashmen

B-b-b bird,bird,bird,b-ird's the word
now thats a funny farm song.

I have the Trashmen album and alot of the songs and music are pretty good.
Too bad all the focus was on the "bird song"

ROTFL

Another bad one is that vile, maudlin and nausea-inducing "Little Drummer Boy" number: "Buh-ruh-buh-Bum-BUM" PDT_Armataz_01_32
